The Tundish with Self-Closing Valve is a unique and innovative product, combining the functionalities of a tundish and a non-return valve. It features a silicone membrane seal that is unaffected by hard water, ensuring it prevents foul odours or sewer gas from entering the building when installed into a waste or soil pipe. This product is generally maintenance-free, making it a convenient choice for various installations.

The MACTUN tundish incorporates a self-closing membrane that opens to allow discharge to flow freely and then closes to form a seal. This design ensures that foul odours and sewer gases are kept out, maintaining a clean and safe environment. The membrane seal has no spring mechanism, which makes it reliable in hard water areas and ensures a smooth discharge flow from the PRV/TRV.
