This Hydroflo side inlet valve features a 1/2 inch brass inlet tail and a robust design intended for reliable cistern control. The float stem is positively retained by the float arm so it cannot detach once installed, while the arm’s ratchet mechanism allows precise final setting of the water level.

For safety and water hygiene, the valve incorporates two built-in backflow prevention measures: an air break above the silence tube and a membrane within the valve head to help prevent any bacteria present in the cistern from reaching the mains supply. If being used in the Vantage cistern, the plastic tail version will be required.
