Anti Back-Flow and Rodent Barrier Valve
The 4″/110mm Anti Back-Flow and Rodent Barrier Valve is designed to prevent backflow and deter rodents from entering the building. Manufactured from black polypropylene to prevent light penetration, this valve is suitable for use with any McAlpine WC connector with a 4″/110mm rubber outlet seal in both commercial and domestic drainage situations. The door is made from stainless steel mesh backed plastic that rats cannot bite through.
This valve is essential for installations where special measures are necessary for rodent control, as recommended in Approved Document H1 of The Building Regulations 2000 (2002 Edition). It prevents backflow when fitted to WC pans connected to the correct configuration of drain and soil pipe systems and compliant with current building regulations and BS EN 12056-2:2000.
